A wonderful hotel is a part of the joy of visiting a new (or well-known) city. There are many luxurious resorts in Phoenix and the surrounding areas in central Arizona, including many spas and golf courses. While visiting Phoenix last week, I stayed at Mountain Shadows outside of Scottsdale. This beautiful resort is located near Phoenix, Arizona, and offers a wide array of amenities and services.
ABOUT MOUNTAIN SHADOWS
Paradise Valley is home to Mountain Shadows, a boutique resort perfectly situated at Camelback Mountain and Mummy Mountain's base. A geographical feature gave the hotel its name when it opened in 1959. The resort was a feature of the upscale town over the years, attracting Hollywood producers, international tourists, and families. In spite of having many different owners over the years, the resort has retained the same name, even after its closure in 2004 and subsequent reconstruction in 2017.
While the resort was completely rebuilt and reopened in 2017, the property's history still remains. As you enter the resort, you are greeted with architectural details and a breeze block by the swimming pool that are all meant to pay tribute to Mountain Shadows history and the scenic landscape in which it is set.
For our girls trip to Phoenix, Mountain Shadows was the perfect place to stay. The resort is a beloved and iconic destination for travelers in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
