AFASA Reggae Festival
Two legendary local reggae bands Dee Dread and Walt Richardson are also scheduled to perform at the reggae festival. Three-time Grammy nominee Wailing Souls (of Kingston, Jamaica) will also perform. We will have a music ensemble, a stilt walker, an acclaimed international DJ (Jahmar), a legendary African storyteller, and an African marketplace, offering African and Diaspora African (Caribbean, Soul food) cuisines, crafts, fashion / fabric, jewelry, decor, etc. from festival vendors.

Ales on Rails
This is Verde Canyon Railroad's way of toasting the German tradition of Oktoberfest. Explore a wide selection of local Arizona breweries, richly crafted beers that range from light pilsners to hoppiest IPAs to deepest stouts. Now in its 19th year, Ales on Rails always sells out in advance and include a souvenir beer glass, four beer tasting tickets, a made-to-order lunch from the Copper Spike Cafe and a large selection of tasty Arizona-brewed craft beers for only $125 per person. Beer is on tap on the depot patio prior to the trains leaving at 1:00 p.m. A selection of afternoon beers will be available for purchase on board during the ride.

Oktoberfest at the Fountain
A celebration of Ludwig I's marriage in Munich, Germany was the first Oktoberfest. The Volksfest has continued to this day and is held annually in Fountain Hills. Blue and white tables cover every authentic detail, including long tables for meeting new people and chatting with neighbors. During a live German band concert, enjoy the sounds of old-time German drinking songs and dance a jig.

This year's Rockin Taco Street Fest returns to downtown Chandler for the 11th straight year. This season's taco party features more than 20 local restaurants in Phoenix and food trucks, including Tapas AL Gusto, Los Sombreros, and Salsa Bites. Besides some incredible eats, attendees can enjoy live music, eating competitions, mechanical rides, Luche Libre wrestling matches, and more.
A vibrant celebration of Mexican culture is a perfect way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Mariachi Los Camperos performs, and Mariachi Estrella de Mexico consists of 16 members, along with dancers from Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ.
